Join the Sanctuary Advisory Council
The Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council brings members of the local community together to provide advice to NOAA and to help guide sanctuary management. Council members are also liaisons to their communities, building a strong connection between the sanctuary and stakeholders.
The council’s 30 members represent a variety of interests, from recreation and tourism to education and research. Membership is designed to balance points of view represented and geographic diversity. Several government entities and American Indian Nations and Tribes also have seats on the council.
Council meetings are open to the public and provide a place where community interests, support, and concerns are heard.
